ince or a state that uses abundance of salt on their roadways in the winter time, like Ontario Canada does, this might be a great tip to save the longevity of your equipment.
Glenn Page takes great pride in his equipment and he runs trucks that are almost a decade old, but look like they were just built yesterday. Why do they look so great to this day? It’s because he takes so much care of his equipment. He makes it his mission to keep his equipment in perfect working condition, for as long as possible, to ensure his customers are always taken care of. When it comes to Glenn Page and his crew there’s a great deal of dignity when showing their clients, and the rest of the greater Toronto area their dedication to this industry.
So what does Glenn do to make sure these units are rust free and stay that way year after year? Now keep in mind not every Province and State allows this, but in the province of Ontario, because the amount of salt the municipalities use, companies like Northern Force Hydrovac need to take extra precautions to keep their equipment rust free. Each and every year Glenn and his crew will lift their tanks sky high, with their booms reaching out, and they do a complete undercarriage and door jam oil spray. They will cover every inch of the hydrovac truck, that is open to the elements, with oily wall barrier which blocks roadway salt from penetrating. Leaving the oil barrier on the truck for the entire winter will ensure a brand new truck will be revealed in the upcoming spring season, leaving
